In the Pink This quilt is a total hodgepodge of fabrics! I started with a large piece of black fabric, and everything else is fused onto the black fabric, including the striped pink that forms the "sky." All the foral fabrics were cut from old thrift shop clothing. The striped pink was from the skirt of an old dress! The tall flowers (see detail) were made from two different polka dot blouses. I just cut circles around the black polka dots, leaving some of the pink around each dot. |
