Daisies This work started with a piece of silk I hand-painted which forms the background of the quilt. Fabric daisies and leaves from silk flowers were used for embellishment at the bottom left of the quilt. The quilt was then mounted onto a painted canvas (the burgundy you see which forms the "border" around the quilt). Additional embellishment was added to "break the border." The whole picture was coated with acrylic medium. |
